Dedication

How serious are we as a squad. Do we need to re-organise our squad....

It's odd that you would start this thread. I was looking to do the same thing yesterday. This has been on my mind since the last war. There were some of us who made a real effort and we saw how our stats improved. DarkDawn moved to the top of the leaderboard and others were ranked in the top 50. Our squad was able to move into the top 75 for a while. With some dedication, we can do it again and become a top squad.

How long will it last? New games will come out and players will get bored with Chromehounds. Right now there is a good core group of players and some good new players. I do think that when people join our squad and see activity level as everyday they should have a clue as to our dedication. I know some people have families and jobs but to keep a spot on the squad they should put in a few hours a week.

i agree with mr bighedd we should put a poll up to shall i say boot members or are not active!

There are two sides to the argument. There are certain priveleges to having a larger squad. There are even more advantages to having more members who are active. In the perfect world we would have players online at all hours of the day. Our UK players put in a lot of time on the game. I try to put in at least 2 or 3 hours a day during the week and more on Fridays and weekends. I think it's a little unrealistic to think that we could get a squad of players who would do 3 hours a day, 7 days a week. I think it would be great but I don't see it happening.

Another thing that we might find out after we clean the dead weight off of the roster is that there are probably more recruits looking for squads than cadets. Better players are already on squads. When new games are released and the price of CH drops there will be a bunch of new recruits. Are we really looking for new recruits or slackers like my ***?

What I really think is drop the slackers.

yeah i agree but who do we call slackers..... what about Engineer does his job count as a good enougth reason.....any names anyone wishes to boot private message them to me and i will see what i can do

in the end of the day guys if ppl we kno want back in the squad if we boot them its no problem for them 2 ask is it? if we boot them and when they log bk on they can just simply send us a message cant they? and in the mean time we can get some more active players on and get a better squad? if we dnt like them they can be booted!

We can all complain but really the only person who has the power to boot is Sick. Of course you can as others for advice or opinion.

What excuse is a good excuse? Job,family,vacation,school, internet trouble, xbox crash, terrorism?

I'm really ranting about this because of my personal frustrations. I know people who would actually use an XBox if I gave them one.

The war ended last night. I think we are all ready to make a good effort in the new war. No one is having connection problems and we are working well as a team. Let's make the F0X Hounds name known.

well i spoke 2 browny and he said he was gonna but blue is kicking red's ass or was this morning i need 2 do reds cap and the 1 on the right of it 2 complete my maps!

I will try to log more hours in Chromehounds. It's tough as I can't play any games at all until my 20 month old goes to bed. Then I have 2-3 hours that I can sorta call my own.

While i do agree, dont forget that some of us will play as an when we can. I think your should also take into account the people who have spent money to change there gamertag, as you all now this is in its self dedication to the clan.

I think the dedication is not for the clan but for the F0X Hounds squad. I put in many hours over the weekend and was able to move from #892 to #62 in shots fired. Get online and kill something.

Now back to our regular scheduled subject, squad dedication.

I've been feeling guilty lately because I wanted to get my experience level up to 60 in HVG. I wasn't really feeling like much of a team player. I put in some extra time and got to level 60 then I spent an hour building a scout to get that level up. That's when it occured to me. Everything that you do (except die) benefits the team. Every player needs to check out their achievements and experience levels. Find something that you need to do and do it. 5 commanders on the map at the same time may be overdoing it but we can work with it. Now get in the game and score.

hey guys just so you know i came across some guys playing poker and uno and i think this will help you guys that are feeling that the foxs hounds are falling behind in the ranks. i have talked to about 4 people who have heard of us and some of them have played up saying we are a great group and play well and fair. as far as taking people off i think we sould keep them on till we have someone to replace them i like the extra picks for parts.

I should get some time in at some point this weekend. It won't be tonight cuz I have a gig, but tomorrow night I'll be around.

If you guys could hook me up with a couple-few hound designs that would help a bunch though. I still suck at building hounds and could use some inspiration.
